Children were made aware under Swachhta Pakhwada at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School Langroya

Nawanshahr 01 October (Harinder Singh) Under the ongoing program under Swachh Bharat Mission Urban-2, a seminar was organized by the District Administration and under the able leadership of Principal S.S.S.S. Langroya Dr. Surinder Pal Agnihotri at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School. In which Jaswinder Singh Community Facilitator, who is serving under the “Swachhta Hi Seva” mission along with the Municipal Council Raho and Nawanshahr after retirement, addressed the children. Jaswinder Singh said that Swachhta Pakhwada is being celebrated by the Government of India from 17 September 2025 to 2 October 2025! As a member of the working committee of Punjab Municipal Improvement Structure Development Company, Jaswinder Singh Community Facilitator gave information to the children about the management of wet waste and dry waste in the morning assembly at Langroa School. He shared in detail with the children about de-composing and non-de-composing. He said that how the waste can be stored in the form of dump and reused in the recycling way. Jaswinder Singh said that we should contribute to keeping our body clean and the environment clean so that we can become citizens of Swachhta Bharat by leading a clean life. He said that children should give priority to eating nutritious food instead of fast food. Finally, the head of the organization, Dr. Surinder Pal Agnihotri, thanked Jaswinder Singh for his speech and honored him with a token of appreciation. On this occasion, the institute’s Madam Guneet, Rekha Janeja, Amandeep Kaur, Parminder Kaur, Parvinder Kaur, Kalpana Bika, Meena Rani, Rajni Bala, Neeraj Bali, Sukhwinder Lal, Prem Pal Singh, Harinder Singh, Sumit Sodhi, Jaswinder Kaur, Kamaljit Kaur, Sushil Kumar, Pradeep Singh, Pradeep Kaur, Kulwinder Singh, Lakhbir Singh, Baljinder Singh etc., besides the students of the school, were present.
