Nawanshahr, November 12 (Harinder Singh) Under the leadership of Punjab Agricultural University and ICAR-Attari, Zone -1, Ludhiana, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Langroya, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar organized a one-day training camp on “Natural Farming” for the farmers of Block Saroa on November 11, 2025. About 50 farmers and farmer wives participated in this training program organized under the leadership of Dr. Pardeep Kumar, Deputy Director, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Langroya. Dr. Baljit Singh, Assistant Professor (Entomology) warmly welcomed the farmers who came to the program and highlighted the importance of natural farming in the current situation. He shared information on effective pest management in natural farming and various methods of preparing seed nectar, live nectar, solid live nectar, neem aster, brahma aster and agni aster. Dr. Aarti Verma, Assistant Professor (Vegetable Science) presented an in-depth analysis of the basic principles and practical aspects of natural farming, with special focus on chemical-free, winter vegetable cultivation. He concluded the program by thanking the farmers and farmer women for their participation and enthusiasm. The training program provided a great platform for the farmers to interact with experts, share experiences and gain practical knowledge about natural farming recommendations.
